Hey all, I've been on vacation for the past month and my Mother said she'd take care of Jerome my dragon. I explained to her EVERYTHING, especially on how not to move any of his lights or furniture. I come back and everything is out of whack, Jerome is hidden in his cave with a black beard, and my mom says, "He was in the heat all day! It's not good for him!"
So, that being said, I re set up everything and noticed his light bulb was burnt out. So i did some research on Halogen Flood lights, and bought one for his basking light. It's 100W with a dimmer, it's on full blast, and in order to get his basking spot to 100 it has to be as close as you see in the picture? Any problem with his light being that close to him? He seems happier. If there is a problem, will lining my Light Fixture with Foil possibly amplify the heat and allow me to raise it more? Just trying to make sure everything's alright here. Thanks!
