I am about to begin work on a new viv for my dragons. I am going to build a viv that has three layers, one on top of another. Each one will be approximately 48" long with a depth of approximately 24". The height is up for a little debate though. I originally was considering 24" heights, but am now thinking 18" heights will do.
1. Does anyone disagree with 18" heights? I would be installing reptisun tubes (36" bulbs?).
2. I am unsure of what to do for doors. On the viv I built for one of my dragons, I built a swinging wooden door. I could do this for all three sections. Or I could install sliding glass doors. Here is my question. I don't understand how the sliders work. Even if I install a track, won't there be a lot of friction? Do they slide smoothly and easily?
I opened the top level on this one to envision some sort of sliding glass...
