New pet for our family!

I am so excited to finally get to post here! First I want to thank everyone for all of the information I gathered over the last month or so as I waited for my new baby to come home! We picked up our new little guy "Phoenix" on Wednesday!!! He just turned 4 weeks old yesterday and is the cutest thing ever! He hasn't been eating much but seems to be more interested today!

I remember when mine was that big! Good times. Mine was the same size/age as yours when I got her. She's grown 8 inches in the 3 months I've had her. Which is a little on the high side.

I also have that same tank! It's a really nifty tank but the only thing is your beardie is going to grow out of it really fast. Expect to have to upgrade in several months. The big problem I'm finding with mine is that since the tank is a square shape it's really hard to get the temps on the cool side down. Which is why I just bought a 3' long tank. The dragon really needs a cool side that's around 85 degrees and a basking spot that reaches 110 degrees and with this tank it's very hard to achieve that.
