Hi, I have always loved animals and I'm hoping to add another to my family. I currently keep two dogs, 2 beardies, and 1 beta. I am either thinking about adding crested geckos, axolotls, or a community freshwater tank. Cats unfortunately are not an option because my dad is allergic. Rodents are a no as well because my mom is terrified of them. Also, any "farm" animals; chickens, pigs, cows, horses, etc, are banned by our HOA. Any advice or opinion on which of my stated choices would be best would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! :) :D

What sort of space and funds do you have? I always recommend getting the smallest critter you can give the most space too.

cresties are probably lowest maintnence of your list, you could make a lovely planted habitat for one as well. Done right (uvb, heat, large cage) adds a bit. Axolotls I think take the most work of the list - basically fish care+ and need cool water which can be a challenge for some.

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
