New owner. Is Falcor OK?

Hello and Thanks to all that read this. I recently got my first beardie from someone who couldn't take care of him. I've upgraded everything for him (in a year he had never had uvb or a hide and was on crushed walnut in a 20 gal tank) when I first got him he always slept in his hide but now he is sleeping out and sometimes behind it and sleeps flat to the ground. Is there a problem? Also today I got him a bigger tank and a 100w zoo med basking light and he never stopped basking. Again is this an issue? The uvb light is a repti sun 10 15watt. I hope I've given all the info needed to know if something is wrong. I'm worried for my Falcor

Sleeping flat to the ground and basking a lot doesn't indicate a problem to me. Are his basking temperatures up around 100? The ReptiSun 10.0 T8 is a good bulb. Is it mounted about 6-8'' above his basking spot?

The light is mounted and I believe his temp is good just haven't gotten a temp gun or probe just yet.

As long as the temperature is right on the cool side and the warm side this should be fine. Maybe when you take him out of his cage to hold him put him back in on the cool side of you're really worried!
