Okay, so Shae is almost 3 years old has never laid eggs before and her and her man got it on yesterday. WHAT oh WHAT do I need to know on how to care for her for the next month.*edit* It's mainly her health I'm worried about *edit*

ALSO I know how to tell if she has eggs in her but after the point of conception when will I be able to tell if they are there? Just keep checking?

She stopped eating two days before I put them together and has not eaten since then. Should I changer her diet at all? She eats super worms daily and greens every other day.

Thanks for any and all help.

*edit* I might add that I did read the sticky in the forum I just find it better when I can ask my specific questions.

Up her calcium intake to every day. Use liquid calcium if you can. In about 2 weeks, you should be able to feel the eggs, you will also notice her gaining weight. If she is a healthy weight, or even a little fat, you do not need to change her diet, however, a dragon that age should be getting greens every day. She should be getting 80% greens, and 20% protein. If she is a bit on the small side, then you should increase her protein as well, because she will lose some weight after laying.

She has been kind of chunky for a while. I'm concerned that maybe she has bad eggs in her. Her previous owner didn't know a lot about her. So when I found out he was a she I became concerned about this.

Is there any greens that are better than others? More healthier for her?

Collard greens, turnip greens, dandelion greens, they're all pretty good for them. I've noticed with most beardies, turnip greens appear to be the favorite. I don't have a single dragon in my house that won't eat them, including my babies, so over 60 dragons, all of them LOVE turnip greens.

Awesome. So may I ask you,
I read that dragons like lemon grass. Now is that the lemon grass that looks like actual grass or the stalks of lemon grass. Is either of them nutritious for them?

Also, looks like me and my beardie are going to be dads together. He has a scared look and so do I.

LOL. Congrats man.

I've actually never fed lemon grass, but I do know it is safe for them. I wouldn't feed it all the time, but an occasional snack is ok. It's high in fiber. And they mean the lemon grass that looks like grass (citronella).

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
