I went to the local home depot(Canadian hardware store) and got a 36" t8 single bulb fixture. Im not sure where else to buy one!

I couldn't find the fixture I needed at Home Depot (they're all over the United States), so I had to go to Wal-Mart. Mine was $9. It is by a company called Lights of America: http://www.walmart.com/ip/Lights-of-America-24-Under-Cabinet-Light-White/17163528

I don't know if they do a 36" fixture, though.

Wow, thanks for looking that up for me - very kind of you! I ended up ordering one very similar to that. So did you hard wire it somehow or did you put a cord on it? I couldn't find any that had a cord to plug in so I had to go ahead and buy one without it & I'm having my electrician friend put cords on them for like $50 (to do two fixtures each w/a 6ft industrial power cord to be as safe as possible).

I bought a six foot extension cord, cut the end off and wired it in. It's really easy! I'm gonba post a how to in the do it yourself forum tomorrow as I just built another enclosure for my little 8 month beardie. Made a step by step for everybody
