hi everyone! im so excited i finally got my mom to let me keep a bearded dragon at home for a month until i move back to school. i will be taking him with me cause i will have an apartment my mom is just afraid of any reptile so it took awhile for her to say yes. now that she is cool with it i have already started some research one them but im lost as to what all i need to get. i would like to get the tank and lights all set up and figure out how to work everything before i bring one home so what are some basic things i need to start with? some places say 20 gallon tanks others say up to 60, which is better? any tips or suggestions are VERY helpful!

There are many resouces on the internet, I can give you a few if you would like, but they, too will differ in ways. You have to go with what makes sense and maybe others who actually have experience with their dragons.
Just keep in mind, bearded dragons are a high maintenance creature (relatively speaking) with a lot of different needs. They depend on their caretaker for everything.

Hi there! congrats on your beardie! It took me forever to convince my mom I should get Inanna!

With beardie's tanks, the bigger the better! 20 gals is way too small for adults. 60 gals is better, but you can go even bigger.

And beardies are finicky little guys. some of 'em won't eat unless you hand feed them (which is actually pretty fun for me). They will also rampage around your house like godzilla until they know the exact layout. But in the end, they're WAY funner than a barrel of monkeys!
