New guy

I've made him a house he can go into from cardboard and he seems to like sleeping in that. He didn't have anywhere to sleep and his heat lamp was left on all night so I am not sure how he got any sleep when the previous guy had him.

He might not have gotten much sleep which could be a reason why he is so tired along with the relocation stress. I could also be wrong, just a hunch, assuming he didn't learn to sleep through it...who could?

Well both nights I've turned the UVB light off he's been straight down to bed in minutes and I don't hear a peep till I turn them back on in the morning. So I'm glad he's getting used to having the lights off quickly.

This might be an issue. I noticed in the morning that without heat the humidity in the tank rises to around 55-60%. Anything I can do to prevent this? I've already taken the bowl out

Replaced the sand with some bathroom vinyl tile.

Will he get used to walking on it? He's slipping a lot at the moment.

Got my Temp gun today.

I read his basking rock at 95F. His Log at 90F and the cool side at 80-85F

This is a bit low for basking temps right? Although, I have noticed that he much prefers to bask on the log and not the rock, even though the rock is warmer.

Does that mean he thinks that 95F is too hot already? Let alone 105F?

Hey there! Love the changes you've made! 95 degrees is required to digest food properly. So, he has to have that temp anyway. My beardie is 3 months and he will move away if his basking temp is over 102. So, they are all different. Maybe he just prefers the log...can you make that his basking spot instead of the rock? As for the vinyl flooring in his enclosure (I don't know if it was mentioned), you could always sand it a little to give him a better grip and prevent all the slipping and sliding
