Last but not least... is Sythe, unfortunately he passed away due to a second growth on his head and grew even larger than the first one that the vet removed. We did our best with him and he was so very tolerant of the feedings, cleanings, he hated car rides... the growth eventually took his sight and was causing him obvious distress and removal of a second growth was impossible because of how porous his skull beneath the tumor had become. He was uthenized. RIP Sythe.

I should say, Although Pizza is a very LARGE dragon.. She is fed 90% on various greens and 10% proteins and fats from supers and crickets. Our other dragons eat far more supers and crickets than she is allowed.....just a hefty girl I guess?? Do you think she is an unhealthy size? I'm asking because I've wondered that myself :dontknow:

Well, I think we are putting Pizza on a strictly green and such diet for awhile, I don't want her getting any fatty liver disease or anthing from being too heavy..

Does she remind anyone else of Jabba the Hut? Or is it just me? ...lol

Nice tanks! They look awesome! Stacks are so great, I do not know what I would do without mine! Nice leatherbacks too! The patterns are really vibrant.

Pretty Dragons!! Love your girls beard! Very nice enclosure too!! I have to custom enclosures my husband made me. I prefer custom made over glass tanks! They seem to hold heat so much better, and you can make them look how you want. It's funny how addicting beardies are! I got my first one a lil over 2 years ago, and now I have 5 plus going to keep two babies for my daughter. Oh and since I got my first dragon all my immediate family got dragons after that lol! Your dragons look so nice and healthy, but your girl is very big, but so cute! Oh and I am really sorry bout your beardie that was ill.

There is one other Star Wars character....it was in Episode 2, he is the cook at some diner that Obi Wan visits to find out about a the dart from Jango Fetts' gun. Pizza and that guy have the same paunchy neck. Also reminds me of the Gungans king from Episode 1. So many odd creatures have that...wonder if old George has had a beardie...

lol! I'm gonna have to watch the episodes again!!

Rowaki, Good luck with your beardie! They are addicting! We have become slaves to ours  We live in a fairly small space so the stackable vivs are awesome! My father and mother in-law spent alot of hours on them, they used 2x10 dried out fish farm floating walkways, he planed them on all four sides to get rid of all the sunbleached and damaged wood after carefull removal of all nails. The tracks are made from recycled 4x4 fence posts. they are bisquet joined and then the wood is sealed and laminated. holes were cut in the sides and back and normal circular household vents were inserted. The interior is arborite so very easy cleaning  circular adhesive felt pads were used between the vivs to prevent damage from rubbing. My inlaws live over 1000km away so they partially assembled them and brought them out in their motorhome when they came to visit for the summer then here we finished assembling them :) It was a labour of love and I can't thank them enough for all their hard work!! We use discared carpet pieces from the carpet store to line their cages, cut to the appropriate size, I find it works great and just throw it away when it gets dirty and insert a new one, we usually have a few pre-cut pieces standing by ;)

I LOVE the fact that they are mostly all made from recycled products!

No problem Rowaki! I love this forum for its wealth of information! Have you taken any pics of your dragon yet? i would LOVE to see them!!! My inlaws are very special to me, pretty much MY parents, I lost my own parents back in 1992.......wow......long time ago. They have been my rock. Me and Ma talk every day even though we are so far appart and she alway asks about the dragons  She loves them too :) We now have eggs in the incubator again and are soooo excited to see our new lil dragons!

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
