Hey, everybody! Just got my new dragons today, and I named him Ares. He has a large, healthy appetite, he has eaten I guess 15 crickets today? He has explored and licked everything in his tank, and looks up with great interest when someone walks up to see him. He has eaten 3 crix out of my hand! He is not shy at all, and loves people. He is a great jumper and climber.

Ps, he totally ignores his salad. :roll: He is like, if it doesn't move, it isn't good.

This is to answer any husbandry questions. Here goes
Reptile carpet, 36 by 16 tall by 18 wide 40 gallon breeder, screen cover with slit in it for uv light, 48 in uv light fixture( got it too long :wink: ) 48 in reptisun 10 tube,150 watt zoo med basking light, 60 watt Che for night time, digital thermometer with probe, plus infrared thermometer, small water dish, repti hammock, grapevine, log to climb on, log to hide under when he's older, small gut loaded crickets, will get repti-worms and and hornworms( tiny) collard greens, dried papaya and fig and raisin mix for treats, light timers, 12 hrs per cycle, peach purée, okra, and other veggies for the beautiful dragons list. That's all I can thinks of now that I have. Oh wait, herptivite, repcal d3 and no d3( once every 2 weeks) he can get right next to the heat lamp, 8 in away or 14 in away. He has a rock to bask on, too. I will get him on Saturday, I am going to start everything like lights and stuff to do a final check that everything is working right. PLEASE PLEASE let me know if I have missed ANYTHING!!!!!! You guys are great, ANY AND ALL advice is appreciated.
Also, how do you post pictures? He has been feed twice today.

You should be dusting his food with the repcal every day. Every other day atleast. Not every 2 weeks. You should dust with the herptivite once a week. DO NOT dust with calcium on this day.

Easiest way to post pictures is the creat a photobucket account. You can then upload your picture to the website and it has link there you can copy and paste on here and it will link directly to your picture and show it on the forum post.

Oh no, that is calcium without d3. i dust with calcium 5 days per week. everyone else says herptivite twice per week, :?: and thank you for your concern. :mrgreen:
