I got my first baby bearded dragon almost a week ago (we named her Opal) and she has just started/is finishing her first shed. I want to make sure everything is okay, and all the skin has come off properly. I have read up on shedding and it says if the skin doesn't come up properly on their toes and tail it can cause problems, and I can't quite tell if it's all good. Can anyone tell me? Also, she seems to have some stress marks on her belly and I don't know what they're from. She's really fidgety and likes to hide up the top of her wall. I've included pics of the set up. Thanks for reading.

Looks like there is still a bit of shed to come off her toes ... don't stress too much , as she'll get that off most likely while moving about.

She's beautiful :)

If you keep her hydrated (warm baths can help with shedding), you probably won't have to worry about toes and tail tips. It's my understanding that shedding skin only causes the kinds of problems you probably read about if it's allowed to become hard and dry.

Most people say that "stress marks" are misnamed because they don't always indicate stress, but it sounds like she's just getting used to her new surroundings. Hopefully she will get less fidgety once she settles in and learns that she's safe in her new place, but they are all a little bit different.

Her shedding looks good. Make sure to keep her and her skin hydrated. A warm baths great during the shedding stage. Stress lines are nothing to panic bout. It may just be relocation stress. Make sure to handle he and build trust with her. :)

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
