New cage for Roran and two beardie babies being shipped!

So I have FINALLY gotten down to the last day of working on the new cages. I just need my Dad to wake up and help me put the felt gard on the feet (Mom said if I scratch her hardwood floor she would kill me ) and move the piece inside! I am worried about how Roran is going to react to his new cage, I hope he likes it. He has been a bit moody lately, but I think thats because I wont let him out to fight Sammy our tom cat. Roran runs to the glass and beards out at the cat every time he comes in my room. No stress marks at all, just trying to be scary! :roll: Also I have two girls coming tomorrow! They are being shipped today! So I am on pins and needles for all my little lovelies. What a stressful two days I am going to have! I am also on the hunt for that dang camera! I will post pics as soon as I can!

AC, being a mom, I understand Her position ! As for the cat and your current boy, here is a photo of my boy Orion (one of 3 I have) and Chelsea, my female Aussie shepherd. Funny isn't it, how they just have to do the jump and that terrible look on their faces !

My boy is not bothered by the dogs, he is kinda of a snob with them. Gives them one look and goes back to whatever he was doing. Luckily though my dogs don't jump up on my furniture. If that happened I am sure Roran would be bothered. It is just this one cat! And it is so cute how Roran thinks he can take him. It would be a bad day if they ever did get close to each other. This cat was a stray we rescued a couple years ago and he enjoys bringing us birds from time to time. His front paws are declawed so I don't know how he does it! We try to keep him inside though, poor little birds don't stand a chance. Roran tries to protect me though and I love him so much for it!

Even without claws, those kitty paws are quite powerful, as you have seen.

I do have a question about the two babies being shipped.... Do you have separate enclosures for them, as in 3 different vivs ?

The babies are girls that have been housed together since birth and have not nipped each other. I am putting the old viv in storage because it is so hard to keep at the right temperature. The breeder (Howlin' Gale Dragons/Nicole) said she hasn't ever had a problem with her girls together but I have the extra viv just in case.

The move in went well. For the first two days Roran (6 months) wouldn't eat any crickets. Put he was giving good sized poops everyday so I think he was eating his veggies. I give so many some times I can't tell. But this morning he ate 11 crickets! The little girls are good eaters, but today topped it. Ayra ate 20 crickets, Elva ate 24 and some greens for breakfast. They are little fatties and I love it! The girls are still a little jumpy around me but they are only 8 weeks so that is to be expected I guess. At least they are eating and pooping. Couldn't be happier at the moment!
