New but worried

Hey everyone New to the forum but have raised 3 beardies all to adults. I fortunately because of life had to leave them behind to a good home.but I have a new addtion. I do have some concern though I brought this 7 month old home 2 days ago and slowly he has stopped eating he has energy and is hydrated but I am starting to get concerned. I gave him a bth today and he loved it and his fecal looked normal any thoughts?

Hi. Since you just got him he is probably experiencing relocation stress that can last a week or 2.

This is not so permanent issue. Though he is new to the place he might be getting fear of the surrounding.

Like the others said, it may easily be relocation stresss....you may already know this, but Beardies hate changes to their environment, routine or especially caretakers!! But to be safe check that he has correct heating, (105*basking spot, no less than 80's at night, cool side of viv in 80's) lighting (bright day light, correct UVB for 12 hrs daily, only blue/ purple night light or a ceramic heat emmiter-red lights interrupt sleep and cause illness)...any of these can be a cause of reduced appetite. Also, no visitors peering in at him for a few weeks, no loud kids, barking dogs, etc, that can increase stress. If it is relocation reaction, he will settle in after a week or two. He is a nice looking Dragon!
