new bulb for Colasis

we just went out and got a new uvb bulb for Colasis. and i cant belive the difference in coloring it is. i feel like a bad owner for witing for so long to get the new one it was or rather has been 7 months since we first got him so the bulb was no good any more. anyway from now on i will be sure to change it regulary. thank you all so much for being here and helping people know right from wrong.

Uvb bulbs really only need to be changed every 6 months so its not too bad that you waited 7. Also I've seen a product online that is a uvb ray measurer (like a thermometer or hydrometer) and can tell you how good your bulb still is. The reviews have said that they have been able to use their bulb a lot longer because of them knowing the uvb is still good but its not really necessary if you can just replace bulbs every 6 months.

thank you i willhave to go get one. it just seems to glow better if you know what i mean. i also read here not to use the red light and i got rid of that one we hardly ever used it but will not use one ever again.

Yeah, white light is what is best. Beardies don't really have a need for colored lights and it seems to just annoy them more than anything else.
