New Beardie!!

Just got this little guy given to me today. His name is Maui. He is about 6 months old. The previous owner was using birdseed as a substrate. Is that okay? I have a 45 gal tank that I will be moving him into once he gets settled so I don't stress him out too much. Also any suggestions on his current set up would be helpful.

Get rid of the bird sead, get some non adhesive shelf liner, it's got a spongy backing. It's cheap & so easy to clean. A lot of people do tile. You could even lay the tiles on that.
