New Beardie!

I just bought my first bearded dragon, I couple questions and would be really grateful for anyone who can answer them. My beardie is a baby and doesn't like it when I try to interact with him. Also I was wondering if I should give him baths and how often I should spray him with water. How often should I feed him and also his tail is a lighter color than the rest of his body and it's not shedding.

Congrats on getting your first Bearded Dragon! You're gonna love being part of this forum. Trouble interacting with baby Beardies is a common issue. Have you given it enough time to get settled in (at least 1 week) and is it eating normally? If so you need to go through the taming process which can take time and patience. I would recommend looking up some videos on how to tame a baby Beardie. You can go ahead and give your baby a bath but don't do it until you can at least handle it a bit. Also make sure to avoid filling with water higher than his chest or he could drown :shock: I don't recommend misting but the baths should help with the shedding problem.
