new beardie

hi i just got a new beardie about 2 days ago.
he is in a 40 gallon terrarium and i fed him 3 crix yesterday. He is only a baby about 6-7 inches long with tail. today when i got in from work i found something that looked like a poop but it wasnt fully digested. I put a cricket in his tank he wouldnt eat it. I put a carrot shred in front of him and he took a few pieces. I'm just worried why he doesnt have a crazy appetite. He is looking very healthy hes looking around, moving and jumping when i handle him. I was just wondering should i just sleep it off and feed him a cricket tomorrow morning??? also whats that half digested deal?

He is probably having relocation stress! Just give him a few days to get used to his new surroundings! As for the half digested thing it could of been from before you got him! He may not have been in the proper lighting. Bathe him every other day to make sure he is hydrated! Also soak your food with water before you feed him. What set up are you running as in lights uvb? Also is he on any substrate? Are you giving him his calcium and vitamins?

i am using a 75 watt sun-glo bulb from exxo terra. He is on regular sand and i havent got him calcium yet!
