We picked out a little 8 in beardie and brought him home Saturday (named him Garold).

Temp/Humidity
He is in a small 10 gallon now, will be upgrading to 55 gallon in a few weeks once he is settled. I have a desert uvb basking light and his basking platform reads around 101-105. I also have a desert Uvb for the rest of the tank. Cool side usually sits around 80. Humidity was hovering around 40 but we got it down to about 30 now, although it does go up at night.

Water
I gave him water dish and didn't realize he wouldn't drink it like that (I'm new). Monday he started looking dark and stressed so I researched. I tried giving him water with a dropper and then Tuesday I started doing the mist 2-3 times a day and his look improved. I also covered most of his tank with white paper to help him adjust.

Food Concerns
Saturday we gave him National Geographic, Juvenile Bearded Dragon entree and some chopped bok choy, which he didn't touch. We gave him calcium dusted crickets and he downed around 6.
Sunday day he ate nothing.
Monday he at 5-6 crickets.
Tuesday nothing that I could tell.
Wednesday nothing.
Today we gave him crickets and I thought he would jump on them but he did not.

Behavior
He basks a lot and seems to sleep a lot. He wakes and seems really alert whenever we get around the tank though.

I read that it takes adjustment time for them to start eating and acting normal... but this seems not good to me. What can I do and should I be worried??

<<<< these processed foods with the exception of Repashi GrubPie are worthless especially to a rapidly growing hatchling.

I suggest you work methodically through my cheatsheet , there are likely some issues that need changing / tweeking .

@kingofnobbys Thanks so much for that. I printed it out and will go through. I do have a mesh on top so I will take it off.

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
