Hello all. As you may know, My daughter lost her beardie (Bandit) last week. She has been feverishly researching and learning more and more about bearded dragons. Well a friend learned about Bandit's passing and contacted us because he had two dragons he thought were females, but turns out one male one female. They had babys. He sold and gave away all of them but one that he was saving for his neice. But turns out she no longer wants it. It is 7 months old now. So... we still don't really know for sure what happened to Bandit or why he passed in 4 days of noticing him being lethargic. We think it might have been a heat issue (not hot enough temp in the larger tank--75 gallon). I got a new thermometer with a probe and found out the temp was only high 80s and not sure how long it had been that way :-(. My question is do you think I should be worried about the same tank being used. I guess I am worried about exposing him to something since Bandit died in this tank. Thoughts? My daughter has been devastated by his passing and I want to do everything in my power to avoid this happening again. Thanks for any thoughts.
