New Beardie in Milton, Ontario

Hello there everyone,

I am very new to the beardie world, just purchasing my beardie on Saturday. I would have to say I was very shocked at how calm and gentle he is. He is still a juvenile but already the size of my hand (not including tail). His name is Cinnamon. If you have any extra tips I would definitely appreciate them. Been reading online like crazy and so far have fed him the juvenile food kibbles, kale, and banana. It was the cutest thing to see him eating the banana. I would love to find a background for my tank as it's just a brand new glass terrarium.

Welcome!! Cinnamon is a pretty name. Is your beardie a boy or a girl? I bought a desert themed poster from Hobby Lobby for the sides of my tank, & bought a faux rock wall from Overstock.com for the back. I'm in the U.S. so I don't know if you have Hobby Lobby up your way, but any craft store that sells art type posters might be a good place to look. I used double sided tape to adhere it to the tank. It has held very well. Good luck with you little guy or girl.
