New beardie health check

Hello
Lil man is now 6 weeks old 7 inches and eats like a pig.
He is very active and poos regulary 2 to 3 time a day.
His poos look normal kind of smelly when brought to nose.
I am gut loading his crickets with flukers cricket gut load.
and watering crikets with crystal packets.
I was told to wait until Dragon is 6 months old for
first vet visit and fecal check .
Is this correct

poo is going to smell if you sniff it, only worry if its so stinky it will clear the room before you even open the cage.
I'm not sure why you were told to wait until 6 months for a vet check, you can do it at any age really.
