New beardie baby question.

I got him to eat 3 crickets today but feeding him outside in the kiddie pool. (forgive me little crickets) I had to rip one leg off so they didn't jump to fast. His belly still looks empty but at least he did eat some. The 4th cricket bit him I think so he wouldn't touch another. Then I put a bit of warm water in one edge of the pool and let him play in it. After that he decided my hand was a good basking spot so I was forced to sit in the most uncomfortable position while he got all comfy lol I took a pic but after I put the camera up he got all spread out and comfy.

He was acting fearful till I got down and put my hand near him. He seems to prefer human contact.

He is doing really good! He is growing and he eats good he loves veggies like mustard greens and kale. He loves to be held. The only thing is he doesn't like to poop in his home so he always ends up pooping on my lol
