New bearded dragon

I just got a new bearded dragon, and when i handled him at the reptile expo he was extremely calm but as soon as i brought him home and put him into his home he went crazy, he has been attacking/scratching at the plexi glass doors for hours, he also won't let me touch him. Is this normal, if so how long should this last?

I would say very normal. He has a new home he needs to become acclimated to, so I would leave him to himself for a few days to let him settle. Cut back on the handling and after a few days handle him a bit at a time and he should settle down. He's just scared is all. The fact that you are on here, well, I am assuming you have done your research and have all the right equipment so you won't run into problems in the future.

What is his/her set up like,temps,UVB,food,substrate? If set up is correct,put a t-shirt you have worn in the tank to let the dragon get used to your scent,this scent=friendly,food,love.At night,lights out wrap the baby in an old wash cloth or small baby blanket and hold him/her on your chest........
