Hi! This is my first time owning a bearded dragon (or any reptile for that matter) and while I've done a lot of research, i am still very anxious and worrying because I would hate for anything to happen to my dragon, so i'd like a second opinion on his health & how i'm doing, as there's a few things i'm worrying about.
He's a juvenile (8-9 months) beardie I bought from a local pet store. He was there for a long time and I've seen him many times in the pet store and he has seemed healthy. His setup is as follows:
40gal tank
Zoomed combo deep dome lamp fixture
Zilla brand day white bulb
Zoomed 10.0 uvb bulb
Hot side 105.5 degrees F
Cool side 86.5 degrees F
A basking log, water bowl, food dish, climbing log, hammock, and a fake plant on paper towel. I plan to update to reptile carpet or tile at a later time and also buy more stuff. The temps might be slightly higher than average because my room itself is pretty hot.
I got him 2 days ago, and so far he's eaten both days (Romaine lettuce and pellets on day 1 as we didnt have any other veggies, and today he ate romaine lettuce and squash. I tried giving him a cricket, but he didn't eat it).
He however won't drink water. I've tried misting him and he doesn't seem to lick the water droplets, or touch his water dish. He also hasn't pooped since I brought him home, which is worrying me. I don't want to give him a bath yet as he's still adjusting to me - I can pick him up and he won't fire up, but when I put him down he opens his mouth, flattens, and his beard comes out, so I'm trying to not pick him up too much.
He also doesn't seem to do much. While I don't expect him to be constantly moving, he doesn't move around a lot at all (especially when I'm in the room), and he seems to hide in the corner a lot (on the cool side). I only saw him basking once. When he does move though, he moves quickly and doesn't look like he's having trouble moving.

Please give me your opinions! It would really help put my mind at ease.
