hey all, so i just put my five month old boy in his bigger 40 gallon viv and i got a new fake "log" or branch to put in it, but my question is, is this ok to use as a basking spot? it's under the light (it's a longish branch thingy, not real wood though it's fake) and the hottest spot is right under the heat light, and i have a digital probe thermometer that's taped to the log's surface right beneath the light that's been reading anywhere from 99 to 105 degrees. so is this ok to use for him or does he still need a rock? seems like a silly question but i'm just making sure! wouldn't want my beardie to be unhappy for any reason
