New baby

My new baby dragon got here today. He is 2 months old. I have paper up on both ends like the Breeder said but didn’t put paper in the back because it’s against a wall. At first he laid around a lot after getting him out of the box “he was shipped”. Now he is being a little spunky thing and occasionally jumps into the glass where the white paper is then waves at it after bouncing off. What does this mean? Also how can I make sure he’s eating I put in 10 crickets in a little blue bowl and only see 6 now but I saw two escape out of it. Do I rummage all through his habitat to find them? Also won’t that stress him out?

Hi. You need to take out those crickets. They can bite him while he's sleeping.

rather than putting multiple crickets in at one time you can put one in and wait to see if he eats them. That is just a good way i know of! when they wave most of the time they are being territorial saying they are the boss. i think its quite cute. have fun with you beardie!

He ate the crickets in the bowl I saw him eating them. I was going to take the crickets out later today before night time.
