NEW BABY!!!!!!!

Hey everyone,

I just wanted to share my excitment with you all because.....

I JUST SENT PAYMENT THROUGH ON A NEW BABY BOY!!!!!!! WOOOO!

So, he is a little over 2 months old, 10 1/2 inches, hypo rainbow tiger and just beautiful to me

He will be here next week and I dont think I can wait!!!!!

His setup is all ready to go and just waiting for him to arrive! He has an order of reptiworms on their way, along with small crickets and I already have a colony of dubias with lots of babies for him to gobble up!


Heres he is.......

We plan to call him Boss!

His eyes are striking! WOW what a nice looking dragon. And GOOD FOR YOU for getting one that is a little older. Seeing all these people with babies is making me tired! They are so much work! :lol:

This is going to be the longest week of my life! I probably will not sleep the night before he come, and will be watching the driveway all morning! It's so exciting!

Shannybeard, babies make ME nervous! It kills me seeing those teeny tiny babies in petsmart, and all the horror stories on here of babies not making it! Someone just lost a baby on here today! I couldn't handle that! I wanted a juvie, but saw him and just fell in love.

He's going to be spoiled rotten!

And of course Boss is suitable since he will be the boss of me!

Be prepared for aLOT of pics! I'll probably have a physco mom photoshoot when he gets here, taking pics in the box, OF the box, probably even the poor UPS guy, and then 100 more of him in his new enclosure!

Oooooh! I'm jealous! I so want another beardie, they're addicting! He is so freakin pretty! Where did you get him from? Older beardies are so much easier than the ones Petco/Petsmart sells, learning this through my own horror story. Its so exciting to get a new beardie! Congrats!

Thank you all so much! He is bringing me joy already and he's not even here yet! Lol
I am getting him from Southern Beardies, and have to say they have been a pleasure to deal with. They responded to my email within like an hour! I sent an email to another breeder, who is very well known but no names :X the day before I found Boss and still have yet to respond. And they have really beautiful dragons, so with that and their customer service, I would definetly reccomend them. He hasn't gotten here yet, but they use Ship your reptiles with heat packs and fully insulated boxes and tissue so I'm sure I will love them even more when he does get here.
If I don't think about it the time will go faster, but I can't stop thinking about him and making sure everything is perfect for his first apperence!

Well everyone, I will not be sleeping tonight as I will be waiting on Boss' anticipated arrival tomorrow morning!!!!
He is supposed to be here by 1030am and i will be documenting it all!

Well, Boss made his grand appearance at 1030 on the dot this morning, and greeted me with a full beard blow out and it was the cutest thing I've ever seen! When the FedEx guy was walking up my sidewalk I saw him flip the box in his hands and I went RUNNING out the door and started yelling at him that my dragon was in there. Needless to say he looked at me like I had 3 heads and went on his way. So, Boss is a little shooken up (literally) but he's starting to settle in. He explored his new paradise and found his fresh pile of greens and gobbled the whole bowl! I still can't even get my 7month old to take more than a bite of hers! And of course Boss is shedding so I can't admire his colors, but he's so adorable. He is an arm waver, and has been waving at me all day. Lol and my girl is a serious head bobber so it's kind of ironic. I'm not going to introduce them for a little bit though, I want him to settle first. I just want to pick him up and squeeze his cute little blown up beard! I have a big water bowl in his tank, but no water since he's so small he could drown in it, but he's laying in it with his two front feet propped up and his head between them, omg it's adorable. I snapped a pic and will try to post it, but got so caught up in the moment I forgot to take pics of me opening the box! I couldn't even hold him when I finally got him out because my hands were shaking so bad!!! Lol the boyfriend had to put him in his tank because he would have thought there was an earthquake if I kept him in my hands!
