We just recently bought our second beardie, we have had him for about 3 days now, we started it off in a 30 gallon tank but recently moved it to a 20 gallon breeder tank. He is not interested in the crickets were offering, we have kept the temps right at 90 on the hot side hotter in the basking spot and cooler around 80 on the cool side. Were thinking maybe it could be rehoming stress? Can someone help us out we got our other beardie when she was full grown so were not entirely sure about the baby part...any suggestions would be nice right now :?:

I had this problem with my boy Kovu. You could try giving her baby food if she's not eating and your worried, just mix calcium and vitamins into it and a little water to thin it out. :D

Well we had a little more luck tonight. We placed a new uvb in the tank after its bath and going out side today. And for the evening feeding he ate two before giving up lol.

90 is really on the low end of a basking temp. Try going up over 100, he may feel better able to digest.

Our Beardie stopped eating, and with all her symptoms discovered she had a gastrointestinal infection.
You may want to consider taking your new babe to the vet, and force feed until then. Aaliyah lost a lot of weight in the span of a week. She was only eating a cricket or two at each sitting.

Are you using canned crickets or live? We were also using canned, which contributed to her not eating.

Well, today we had a major break through! This may have been our mistake to begin with but, we bought some smaller crickets today than what we have been feeding, and he went bonkers over them! He ate a dozen crickets in just a few minutes and didnt try to run out of the viv as normal :blob5:

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
