New baby - Linda Lizardi

I can definitely see some growth. I think I'm going to measure her every Sunday so I can keep track of how she is doing. I went to an amazing new reptile shop today and they had lots of baby beardies. They all seemed teeny weeny compared to Linda so I certainly think she is thriving and will hopefully get to a good size.

I saw some babies in our reptile shop yesterday too - they were tiny! Hard to believe they grow into such bruisers! :lol:
Love Linda's name by the way - my husband is a big Linda Lusardi fan so thought it was very clever ( :roll: )

Ha ha! My other half is also a fan! Wonder why?! :?

Linda is playing up with her food again. She only ate a couple of locusts yesterday and has had one today. I'm going to try and order her some different worms from an online place today, and hopefully she will be a bit hungrier. I've also turned up the basking light to 110. Straight away her stress marks were less noticeable so maybe she was a bit cold?? Who knows...

Ooo I tell a lie! She just chased and ate another locust! Maybe she was feeling chilly before. She appears to have gone on the rampage around the viv! I don't usually put live food in the viv with her as she is on sand but I left one earlier on to try and tempt her and she has devoured it. I reckon she was too cold before. The basking spot was 105 ish but maybe she needs higher??

Linda update!

After a couple of weeks of fussy eating Linda is now doing really well and eating locusts twice a day! She is more active now she is eating, and it looks like she might shed her arms and legs soon as they are going pale.

I'm so happy with how she has settled in now. She loves coming out of the viv and actually jumps onto my hand sometimes when I put it in the viv near her. I'll put a new pic on in a sec. I love the pattern on her back, she is such a pretty colour.
