New baby. Concerned.

Hello. It's been a couple years since I brought home a baby. This little one seems to be very sleep all the time. I just placed him in his room home since bringing him from the Petco here local to us.
I remember that they can get kinda stressed and stop eating when you first bring them home but I don't ewmenber the sleepy part.

They can definitely cause us a lot of worry!
Can you just review your tank setup with, just to be sure it's all correct for him? If you have pictures
of him/her along with the tank & lighting, etc go ahead & post those also.
Is he maintaining his weight?

Moose is doing pretty well he's eating, and very calm when we cuddle him. He's been eating every baby dubia I put in his tank (hasn't touched greens yet) and I make sure he gets a good drink every day with a baby syringe with water. Pooping awesome as well I'm planning on getting more decorations and I just bought him a carpet today but I haven't put it in yet because I want to wash it first.

Moose is so cute! So, he is doing well today? He certainly looks alert in the pictures,
absolutely.
What type of UVB lighting are you using? I see two dome fixtures, but no tube bulbs.
They do become stressed when moving to a new home but should adjust relatively soon
as long as everything is setup properly.
Has he eaten much for you?

Yes he's very shy and won't eat in front of me but I make sure hes eaten all his little roaches at the end of the day. I have a new tube light and light fixture on the way!

**Something horrible happened** all the lights that we're on in my house exploded! My two adults, and my baby looks like they are fine, I double cleaned and deep cleaned their enclosures and everything of their accessories... But our pet shop is out of the right size UVB I need. Will they be okay going a week without UVB?! I have ordered another one, but neither light will get here for 8 days
What do I do. Are they going to be okay.

Did you have a lighting strike or something like that? It's scary that all of your lights blew. I'd be worried about the electrical system in general.

They should be fine for a week. If you have spare household bulbs you can use those for heat. You can also use a halogen bulb you can pick up at a hardware store. I usually go with a PAR38 or BR40 halogen flood light for basking bulbs. I think worst case if they're too cold they'll just curl up and nap to ride it out.

I don't know what happened it was scary! I'm glad my kids weren't home when it happened because their was glass everywhere.

Luckily I have back up basking lights im able to use, it's just the UVB that won't get here till next week! Hopefully it gets here sooner but there's not much else I can do till then.
