New baby beardie wont eat?

Hi there. I purchased my baby dragon yesterday and was told that it is 2 months old, however after some research I feel that it is younger than that. It is roughly about 11-12cm in length, measured from the head to tip of tail. It is very jumpy and aware of its surroundings, however it has not eaten at all since I got it. I've offered it crickets and some greens, and it wont eat anything.
I am a first time owner. It has correct temperature and lighting in its vivarium. I am very worried, please can someone help?

Hi there....that is the average size of a large hatchling or a 1 month old, but depending on the care it received [ not enough food ] it could be slightly older. But my guess is that it's about 2 weeks old, that's the size most of my babies were at that age.

Him being jumpy + active is a good sign and it may take a few days or so until he's eating and he won't start out eating lots but will as the weeks go by. Be SURE the crickets are not longer than the space between his eyes, this is critical info to keep him from becoming impacted by too large a prey item. Here's a trick that usually works to get them to eat.....put a few crix in a small jar with a tiny pinch of calcium powder. Shake the jar with lid on until the little crix are dizzy + wobbly. Drop them 1-2 at a time right near the beardie. Most babies see this weakly cricket as easy pickings and will go for them. But just put in a couple....if he eats those, do a couple more. Over time he will increase the amount he eats.

Fast moving crickets make babies nervous, so I've always used the shake method for hatchlings that I raised + it always works. Be patient, if he has no real health problems he'll be eating soon.
