New baby beardie (necrotic toes/tail ?)

Hi guys, I will try to keep this short. I will be posting another thread about his nips and what I should be doing, so feel free to check that out, I'll link it after I post it.

My intro:
I'm in college for pre-veterinary medicine. (University of Missouri)
I've had reptiles pretty much my entire life. (Leo's, Iguanas, Beardie's)
I work at a vet clinic when I'm on break from school.
While in session I work at Petsmart, I'm a Pet Care Associate.

I've had a bearded dragon before, when I first went to college I gave him to a family friend who has a deaf son (who absolutely fell in love with him) then when I started working at petsmart it made me miss him so much, I kept telling myself not to buy one, but then I saw this little guy.

My new baby beardie's intro:
He/she has no name yet because I haven't thought of anything yet and I'm waiting to see some of his/hers personality.
He was sold as a "fancy" but I'm not to sure about actual genotype.
He has some pretty bad nips on him,
He eats great, and is very active and bright eyed, other than the nips he seems to be in great health.

***Disclaimer***His set up is only temporary. He is only going to be in a 10g for a couple weeks max, I'm trying to find a good deal on a tank of craigslist, and same with the lighting (the lights he has now are putting out enough heat and uvb but I want a tube uvb like I used to have), Im going to be ordering a new lighting system as soon as I get the new tank. I have a 60g back home, but I can't fit that tank where I live, and its a little to big for a baby, so I'm keeping my eyes out for a 29 or 40.

Hi. He's adorable! What kind of uvb are you going to get? Don't use coil/compact they cause eye problems. Also you can soak him in bedadine make it look like weak tea that'll help his injuries heal.

Im currently using the coil right now , I hate it, I know it causes problems, but that is all we currently have at petsmart (since I always make people get the reptisons now they are out of stock, ), and we are going to be out of the reptisons for a while. The tube and fixture I want is something we don't carry. So I'm waiting a few paychecks to make a big purchase of a entire new system.

Is there a certain type of bedadine I should get or a certain place I should get it from? Is the regular stuff from walmart ok? should I dilute it?
Sorry for all the questions, I just know that babies can be so fragile, and the dang distrubutor has been sending us tiny tiny babies so I've been nervous, although he is the biggest one we had, some of the ones we have gotten in recently have been just 3 inches long,

Holy cow 3 inches! Thats so small. I don't understand why they sell them so small?! Yes just the kind at wall mart would be fine. When you give him a bath just poor a little in the bath till it looks like really weak tea. Hope he gets better soon

Thanks again. Yeah I have no clue why they send them to us so young, we hold the real small guys in the back and let them get bigger before we sell them because the stress of the sales floor and the inexperienced people would likely kill them.
