Well we made our way to the LA Pet Fair this weekend......(you know how that goes...)

We upgraded our enclosures! We went from two 40 gal breeders to two 4x2x2 enclosures. For $150 each, including light fixtures and glass, I believe I would have spent really close to the same amount if I was to build one.
I find it amazing how much more colorful our two beardies are. From the moment they went into their new enclosures, their colors have been amazingly bright. Even our rescue, who we knew had great color and never showed it, has been very bright. The eclosures hold great temps and the interior is so much brighter. We think that the brightness may have something to do with their happiness. Well, here they are in their temporary home until I build a stand for them.....

We still need to get more tiles to complete their enclosures for now, but they are comfortable on the paper towels til then....

Oh nice! Those look great! I'm in the process of building my own and you're definitely right about the price being very close to what you'd spend building it yourself, without all the "fun" of doing so

They look incredibly excited with their "happy colors". Congrats on the new digs!!!

PS Do you know Jagermeister's color morph?

We have no idea of jagermeister's morph. He was a rescue and was very dark for a while. He only brightened up in his baths and while eating, until we moved him into his new enclosure. He has had a yellow head and beautiful blue bars and oranges since minute one in the enclosure.....

The enclosures were $320 total. He said he'd knock of he tax if I had cash, but it was my first reptile show and I didn't know what i'd come home with......

Aww, well that's a happy story. I'm just asking because my Griffin looks just like him with slightly more orange on his beard...

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
Mirage entered brumation yesterday, I'm gonna miss hanging out with my little guy.
