Good call on the not going overboard, I think that was my first problem. Spent way too much time planning and thinking. Its best to keep it simple then when you get tired with the one you made, then can try a more advanced one.

New update! Sorry, been busy with work. I got the slate tile my dad sent me on the weekend, and here is what it looks like so far.

Waiting on my new Arcardia 12% and fixture, as well as painting the rest of the back and adding moss etc!

Next update should be finished product

I absolutley love the rock wall! I've been thinking about doing one for my boys tank for a while now but I'm not exactly sure how I'd go about doing it. How did you do the rock texture? Did you use one solid piece of styrofoam and carve into it? Or did you cut pieces out of a second sheet and glue them on?

AWESOME BUILD!!!! I wish i had the money to do a build like this with my lizzards. But for now my 2 40gal breeders will have to suffice. Any pix of the viv with teh slate in there?
