Hey there, pretty new, but wanted to put up a couple pictures of my girl, Nessy. A bit of backstory...
My girlfriend and I have been having the on again/off again argument about getting a beardie for almost seven years. I've always wanted one (had one, for a brief time in San Diego, when we weren't together, but Loki passed ), and about two weeks ago, I was creepin' through Craigslist and saw a post for a 4-5 month old dragon, with a complete set up, for $160 bucks. When I met up with the guy, he told me that his dragon was actually only about 3 months old (probably closer to four, she's a Petsmart baby), and that he was pretty sure the dragon was male.
My guess is NOT male, but I've been wrong before.
Anyway, I have her housed in a 55 gal tank for now. I'll be building her a new viv in the next few months. She got over her relocation stress pretty quick. She really likes reptiworms, and superworms, but just lets crickets hop around her tank.
Here she is, on her first day home. (Don't worry, she's on slate tile now)
Eating her reptiworms...
And suddenly, she heard the camera!
My favorite: just after bath time!
Bonus picture of Jaxson, Nessy's least favorite person in my house
