Hi All,

Looking on Amazon for food and water dishes and have not clue if they are all about the same or if some are better than others. One thing I would like is a food dish that will keep the dubia's in place? For the water dish I have seen people use small ones to large ones where hey can take a bath but not sure which is better?

Ideas?

I would try to find something with smooth sides like that but taller if you want to keep roaches in(if even possible). I use two of those for my almost 6 month old, one for salad, other for pellets. Roaches just get dumped in cage for him to chase down and hunt. They climb right out of those little dishes anyway.

Yeah pellets are kinda like a mini alarm clock, 6 am lights come on and like clockwork at 7 am I get a nice loud crunching sound as he chomps away picking at the colored pellets and leaving the browns... your lucky if your buddy gets in the habit of eating commercial food in case there is ever a time you run out of feeders or veggies.

I bought the one I use for roaches from target lol. It's maybe 3 inches deep or so... as long as it has smooth sides and deep enough to keep the roaches in you should be fine... I've heard of people using the glass candleholder as well

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
