Need some opinions

I have a bearded dragon who is about 4-4.5 months old. Recently he has been getting patches of white on his skin. I assume that is still shedding but its weird because its only like a little bit of his tail, his sides, the upper thigh on his back leg, and his head. The main cause I have for concern is sometimes his beard looks like its bulging (ill get pictures when he is out tomorrow) and his behavior has drastically change to where he flares up no matter what unless you have food. Also he has been laying close to his under tank heater rather than basking.

40 gallon tank
10% tube uv bulb.
Basking temps 105-115
Cool side 75-85
under tank heater
Reptile carpet.
Taking temps with an ir temp gun.

Any input is welcomed and ill get pictures posted asap.

Hi there, pics will definitely be helpful but it does sound like an uneven + patchy shed. [ Which many beardies go through ]
Him flaring up sounds like he's scared or defensive ? Does he not like to be handled at all ?

Sorry it took me so long to post these.
But you can see the patchy skin I still assume its a shed but the skin has been like that for the past week and a half. I'm starting to see him rub his head on the glass but who knows what that means.
I am not to concerned because he is eating fine and acting normally for the most part. Just been a lot more defensive lately which is unlike him because he usually doesn't mind handling.

Beautiful dragon, love his colors ! The patches are just shedding skin, perfectly normal....his stretching his beard is what they sometimes do to loosen the skin. Nothing to worry about there. :)

Thanks I wish the pictures could show his orange accents off but they are all under shed haha. He really puts my female hypo/leather/witblitz to shame. Thanks for the responses AHBD I figured it was nothing but I enjoy relying on this site :D

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
