just a quick question if someone can answer for me! when my beardie goes under his heat rock(has a hole in it) which is heated above by his red light! he turns a real light color from his usual grey color after i remove the rock he is hiding under is this normal?

The reds are most likely part of his natural coloration. When they're warm and happy their skin will be more vibrant depending on the breed rather than when they're cold or stressed, which will turn them dull. What's the usual daytime temp of the tank?

100 on one side and 80 on the other the thing is when i lift the rock where its dark when he hits the light he starts to turn back to his grey color he is also just a baby
