Need some advice

Hey I need a little bit of help, I'm concerned about my baby that I bought yesterday. Like every 5-10 minutes, he'll jump off his log ( like literally leap ) then run to a corner and stand against the glass. Then he'll scratch the back wall like a maniac. Then back to bask again for another 5-10 min. I'm scared he's hurting himself by leaping into the back wall. His temps are a little low but I'm going tonight to get a stronger bask bulb. I'm just having a mini heart attack wondering what he's doing that for.

If you are concerned about his leaping, you could put a soft towel down on the floor to cushion it. Glass dancing is normal in babies. It means they are excited and want to explore. In other words, babies will be babies.

if you just got him this is normal till he gets use to his cage give it a few days.. babies can be very silly at times so enjoy it when theyt get older they dont do much
