Need ideas for my 4x2x2 pvc cage where to put it..

Hi ,
I got a pvc cage but have no idea where to put it!! I had it when i got dixie. My spouse doesnt want it in the living room just like that cuz she says its ugly. We would need a type of unit to slip in it or something. We both are woman and not handy to build stuff.I keep checking tv unit but hard to find the depth of 2 feet where I could slide it in like a stereo.
Here is a picture of the cage. It is not a picture of my cage, its currently empty .

Anyone have an idea?

What if you painted it to match the stuff your wife likes instead of an industrial white? Then you could put it on a narrow coffee table and some decorative baskets or something on top, and the whole thing becomes a sideboard like piece.

Could always get some pretty patterned contact paper to cover it with or maybe but some really wide decorative trim and cover it(side by side almost like laying wood flooring)
