I have three rescue dragons that all need help with shedding. All have the usual viv setup with controlled high-low heat, some humidity, no loose substrate, and something to rub-scratch on.Their diets include crickets, greens, squash, calcium and vitamins. Rocky was a rescue purchased in February, Beauty and Henry are rescues adopted at the Herp. Soc meetings in April and May. Henry is ten years old and looks like he has not shed in a long time. His skin feels very thick, more like armor than regular dragon skin. He gets daily soaks, as many crickets as he wants, is offered greens but usually does not eat them. Henry mostly eats and sleeps. Beauty's age is unknown but she has recovered from various medical problems and keeps improving. She started to shed, throat and one toe, but has not shed any more. She gets daily baths and has gained weight so I expected her to continue with the shed. The triangle from her nose to right behind her eyes is almost bone hard and while it gets gray, it shows no sign of loosening. Rocky is 3-5 yrs, and is doing a normal shed except for his head. He has the same hard triangle on his head. Should I use the shed products or pure aloe on these hard areas. How should I help Beauty to restart her shed.
