Need help!! Need to identify if this could be mouth rot

My beardie had th

is weird patch spot for a month or two now and now it just looks very odd... it seems to be getting weirder looking and I need to know what this is or what I should do... I was told to try betadine but haven’t yet. Can anyone please help me!

Hello,

That area is just some old shed. It looks like it is just about ready to come off soon.
It should start separating from the healthy scales underneath & peel off.
He will be just fine.
Mouth rot is normally inside of the mouth but does sometimes spread externally due to the
infection.
