Quick question, I heard that you should keep the lights on for your beardie 12 hours a day, which due to school/feeding will be from 6am to 6pm (on weekends most likely starting at 9:30-10am). Is it ok if I keep the lights on in my room when i turn his off, or will that disturb his sleeping habits?

*I plan on having my 10.0 reptisun and 100wt basking bulb running only during the 12 hour cycle, and my ceramic heat emitter on 24/7

I've tested the temps, and at night its 75-79ish and during the day, its about 110 on the hottest point on the basking branch, 95 around the basking area, 85ish in the middle and 78-80 ish on the cool side.

It will depend on your dragon as to whether the room lights disrupt his sleep. Some people find that their dragons aren't bothered, while others find that their dragons become restless/cranky and so prefer to cover the sides of their dragon's tank at night so that they aren't disturbed.

I'm going to figure it out. I'll probably just keep the lights off in my room when his lights are out lol

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
