(NEED HELP FAST!)Coughing/huffing?

I woke up this morning and after about 10 minutes i heard my beardie Jo make like a coughing/hissing/huffing sound. Jo opened her mouth when she did this. Now after about 3 hours later she still does it but through her nostrils? I'm really worried for her and i have no idea whats going on. There is no mucus, her nostrils are clean, nothing in her eyes. Does she have a cold or something? should the heat be higher? Her beard turned black the first time, now it's normal. Help please!

Sounds like a upper respiratory infection. She will need a vet visit to get an antibiotic such as baytril, you can also keep nighttime temps around 80' with a ceramic heat emitter.

Hello,

Try to keep the tank around 80 overnight & the humidity down to 20% to help, in case it is respiratory issues.

Well, shes doing better than yesterday. It went down quite a bit, she just does it sometimes. I think my room was too humid. I opened the window to let in some fresh air and she stopped doing it for the longest time. Now it's only sometimes.

Thanks, I'll be making an appointment soon. luckily, I have a pet health thingy right near my house. Convenience lol. Hope she doesn't have a major issue, i'm really low on money.

Hello,

You could also use a dehumidifier which can be helpful. How is she doing today?
Were you able to keep her tank a little warmer over night also? That will help her immune system get boosted a little bit.
I hope she is feeling better today!
