NEED HELP ASAP!!!!!! Urgent! ***PICTURES**

Did my 9 inch bearded get sick? I got him for east bay vivarium about 3 weeks ago. So not from petsmart. He was alone in his own encloser when i got him he was about 6-7 inches now at 9-10.5. I was feeding him small dubias but ran out so had to get small crickets from petsmart & online. He took 3 weeks to shed from when i brought him home. He shed about 4 days ago he had a loot of shed coming of but took only 1 day for me to not see the shed no more. I gave him a warm bath the day after he shed. He does eat vegies! I was giving him romaine lettuce (i know this isn't the best but all i had) fruits Like Mangos, Apples (occasionally) Strawberry etc.. He would eat his entire greens in a matter of minutes. And yes I do mist him every 2 days or so!

When i got him he was active he would get stress marks for the first 2 weeks. About a week ago he started to get bright & No stress marks at all. But yesterday in the morning When i was cleaning his tank i did not see any fresh poop. I usually see some every morning but for the past 2-3 days i haven't. I also gave him adult pellets/dry food but cut in to little pieces he ate around 4 half pieces. But a few minutes maybe 5 minutes my mom said he got very dark i checked and he was very dark he never went back to normal Also he slept all day yesterday. So i got worry, At about 7 pm i got the cricket container and started to sake it around on top of his cage and he started to look around he knew he was going to eat so i have him small crickets he ate them like nothing in seconds he finished all of them, ate about 10 crickets. He even got a bit brighter but then went back to sleep. At night I turned on the night light and he moved by him shelf to a fake plant where he likes to sleep.

His basking spot Yesterday was low at about 87-90 I had a 75w bulb i also have a 100w. Right now is pretty cold outside my house so i had to switch to the 100w. Atm His basking is at 105 and cool side at about 80. But like i said yesterday it was a bit low. I have a reptile basking bulb & a normal flood light bulb.

This is a video i took of him also today. I shake a container with crickets to dust them off. He gets exited whebn his see it, In the video he very aware of what on top and i gave him a small cricket and ate it with no hesitation

The pellets i fed him yesterday before he got all black and sleepy, Supplements & lighting

I worry because i bought 2 bearded from petsmart 8 months ago both where small about 5 inches from head to tail. The had the same signs But the petsmart one died with in a week. The got sleppy did not want to eat and had diarrhea.


My bearded i got right now Has changed colors to a lot brighter but is till sleeping! Should i but him a luke warm water? If so for how long?! Thanks!

UPDATE********

I gave him a warm bath and he is 100% better! He pooped withing minutes of him being in the water after that he got extremely bright that i have ever seen him. He was even calm on my shoulder he would always get stress mark when i would pick him up. I guess the problem was that he couldn't poop. He's now basking his eye got bigger & back to normal. Should i give him another bath later just in case? Should i go back to feeding him normal today or wait a day?

One bath should be enough anf go ahead and feed like normal but make sure he gets plenty to drink. what probably happened is the dry pellets expanded in his gut. Try soaking the pellets in a water or juice before feeding, it will make them more digestible.

Hello,

How long did he have to digest before his lights went out?
It is recommended that they don't eat any later than a couple of hours before their lights go out so that they can digest. If he ate too close to bedtime then it could have upset his tummy some.
How is he doing this evening?

The latest i would feed him is 7-8. And turn of the lights at 10pm. He was normal after the first bath but then back to black but did not really sleep. I gave him another bath about 30 minutes ago and he pooped twice. So i guess i need to keep giving him baths should i stop feeding him in tell i see get better?!

Hello,

That sounds good, time wise on the feeding.
If he is having normal stools then you can resume feeding him as normal. Maybe feed a little less in the evening & more during the day just to make sure he doesn't have any problems with passing anything through.
