Need cheap terrarium and lighting!

I really need help- need a 55 gallon terrarium, preferably with doors that swing open or at least a sliding door. Also need the mini combo dome fixture, red and white bulbs, a reptisun 10.0, and a hood to go with that. I've checked the whole craigslist with no luck, and the pet stores are way too expensive. Any help would be very very much appreciated. thanks!

If you aren't finding any used setups in your area, you could try building your own. There are a lot of posts in the enclosures section about DIY projects for tanks. I also don't recommend using a red bulb. A UVB tube and a bright white basking light should take care of heat/lighting very nicely. A ceramic heat emitter is a good choice for nighttime heat if it gets below 65 in the enclosure overnight.

Are you looking for temporary housing or a permanent setup?
55g tanks aren't a good size for permanent housing for an adult, the tank is too narrow. The red light is not needed and you can get by with a single dome lamp if your home doesn't get cold at night.

If you don't have kid/pets that can access the dragons enclosure you can try a tub set up. Stores like Target sell large storage totes (36x18x20) that can be used as housing. You can pick up a single dome clamp lamp for around $10 at a home improvement store, and halogen light bulb for basking for 2-10$ also. The UVB is never going to be cheep - you can get inexpensive florescent fixtures made for under cabinets at Walmart or Lowes (8-20$) but be mindful they don't have as good of UVB output as a high quality fixture. The best price I have found in reptisun 10 is on amazon.com.
