NEED ANSWER** Is 3 days too young to show aggression?

I rescued 2 three day old beardies. They were fine yesterday and today, but tonight, one of the beardies ran over to check out his cagemate's setup (i had them each with their own basking spot on opposite sides of a 40 gal breeder) and the other little guy flattened out his back and puffed his beard up at the first one. THEY"RE 3 DAYS OLD. I know that they can be cannablistic at that age, but territorial? I have separated them, leaving the aggressor in the tank and the aggressee in a critter keeper just for the night (this happened right before bed time). Can someone please tell me if this is true aggression or just a hey get outta my spot warning. I know breeders keep 5 or more babies in a tub. This is a 40 gal breeder and there are only 2!

Never too early. The only way to survive as a teeny dragon is to be able to run, to find dinner, and to scare off scary things - including each other. Competition for food and territory rights is HUGE in the wild. Babies also like sticks to climb and keep out of the way of others.
