95-110 on the BASKING spot, and only around 70-80 on the COOL side. Make sure this is correct.
Beardies need a "temperature gradient", which is a cool-to-warm environment.
Also make sure you are measuring your temperatures with either a DIGITAL PROBE, or a TEMP GUN.
The dial ones can be off about 10-15 degrees. Also, when measuring the BASKING spot, make sure the probe or gun is ON the spot. For example, if you have a log in the middle of the hot side, make sure the probe/gun is ON the log. If it's in the air or the corner, it only measures the "air", not the heat beam under the bulb.
If the bulb you're using is too hot, try a house bulb. They work well. There is no need for a "reptile" bulb, as flood spot lamps, house bulbs, do the same thing.
