I have not yet been able to get a baby pool for our 9 week old beardie Zoey. It's so warm that I would love to be able to bring her outside early to get some real sun and fresh air. I already learned glass is a BIG NO NO!!! Let me just say quickly that I was watching very carefully and noticed the cage was getting warm fast so before it turned into a dire situation I brought the whole cage, and beardie, back inside. So now I need to come up with an alternate plan. I heard someone talking at one point about having a screened enclosure. Is this the way to go? I assume it's something I could probably make myself as I think I may have some screen sitting around. I'm just wondering if regular screen is strong enough. Again, she's only a little thing, but I know she will be growing a few inches (I HOPE!!) before fall comes knocking. Again assuming...mesh might be better? How large should this be? Approximately? She's not even 10 inches long yet, so it will be alot smaller than an adult, but it's also something I may want to expand for next summer when she is a big girl.
Oh also, what should I put on the bottom of it? A soft blanket maybe?
